The location of The White Lion By Innkeeper's Collection in Ambleside is excellent for exploring the area. The staff is patient and accommodating, and the breakfast is lovely and fantastic. It's set in a peaceful area within a short walk to the town center, restaurants, and a Tesco Express.

The restaurant at The White Lion had a nice view overlooking the street café. We both enjoyed amazing dishes during our stay.- The central location of this budget hotel was a bonus.- It was conveniently located just 7 km from Dora's Field.

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the town, with a grocery store conveniently across the road. Despite the rooms being above the bar area, we experienced no noise at all, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The pub on-site was great, offering delicious food and a wide variety of choices. This place was the best base to explore the stunning Lake District, with easy access to both the north and south areas. The staff were professional and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room amenities were top-notch, with a flat-screen TV, free toiletries, and a comfortable carpeted floor. The garden furniture provided a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

The staff, in general, were not very friendly, except for one young lady who was nice. The breakfast service was a bit disorganized, as there were no cereals available and we had to wait 40 minutes for our cooked breakfast due to the chef not turning up.

Our room was immaculate and complete with the perfect temperature for a comfortable stay. We were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of champagne waiting for us. The parking was conveniently located on the street. everything about our stay was absolutely first-class.

The hotel was clean and staff were hospitable and well-mannered, everything was really good. Its brilliant, central location was a plus. The service was great, totally satisfied. What's more, there's parking on street.
